Nothing is ever simple 
The summer season is from mid June to early August to coincide with the school holidays but of course things are open all the time in Helsinki.

Hi, i totally agree, but when there are so many international visitors (coach loads of Chinese, some Indians etc) why be so parochial and limit yourself to an apprebiaviated holiday season?

It does seem strange but the attractions mustn’t think there is sufficient demand.
