Whilst in Tallinn they found a museum

The Frogs were quite traumatised by Tallinn.  The old town had been invaded by the contents of 4 cruiser lines, c 12,000 tourists being herded by tour guides just made getting around truly impossible.  The distinct lack of good coffee shops and eateries left the Frogs with no option other than look for some quieter tourism.  Voila!  The Maritime museum.  Quite an interesting museum they had 50% of the submarines ever owned by Estonia on display (1).  She was made in that well known Estonian town of Barrow-in-Furness.  And until fairly recently was the oldest submarine afloat.

The Maritime museum is a really first class museum. An absolute pleasure to visit and highly recommended.  The interior is fascinating, but outside there are a number of vessels that you can walk onto and some you can look around with excellent access.  All in all a fantastic museum and dare I say it… more interesting that the Old Town.

If this had been in Sweden I would have assumed that Ikea had started making flat pack ships.
