Ta-dah!!!
We have reached our first Scandinavian destination, Helsinki.
We have found ourselves a nice little place to park for
Tonight, we must be all of 2km from the city centre…

But the view isn’t too bad!
Today has had rather epic tourism for little frogs. 5 loops of the Helsinki tourist wheel. It’s very cool but feels a little hamster sized compared to the London Eye. But as the saying goes size isn’t everything.
A trip to Suomenlinna was fantastic absolutely fantastic. We are now somewhat knackered.
Finnlady docked at 9am we were off the ferry by 9.15 and by 10.30 we had checked out the next ferry terminal, found an overnight camping spot and found a safe car park for the day a few hundred metres from a tram stop in Zone A. Contrast with a DFDS arrival in Newcastle and it’s a miracle if you have got through the UK Border Farce that quickly. Maybe those Europeans could teach us a thing or two.
