Last Night of the Proms

The Wandering Frogs are big fans of the last night of the proms. They particularly enjoyed celebrating the 100th anniversary of Jerusalem.  However, wandering frogs are famed for their demanding nature and high expectations, as such they were disappointed that the “Battle of Britain Overture” and “Dambusters” didn’t feature.  Why these might be seen as blatant jingoism, what’s wrong with that once in a while…

However, as the wandering frogs are on tour at the moment they were treated to a rather fantastic virtuoso performance of Dambusters followed by a homage to the Battle of Britain.  Thank you very much to the nice people at RAF Coningsby.

Good job that there wasn’t a dam nearby… Oops, the Derwent valley.  I seem to remember reading that Lancasters are notorious for flying down here.
